Labuan.. Day Three

          Continue from previous post. We went to Financial Park (Ujana Kewangan) -UK Complex again. Can read here for more details about the building/complex.

          Nothing bought at UK Complex. After that we walked to Dataran Labuan again (again 'again'). *After all Labuan is a small town, remember?*

          At the roundabout... on our first day, we turn right (3 o'clock), but this time we chose different direction to walk-we walked straight on (12 o'clock). 

          After that we shopping chocolates & cigarette (for husband's friend) at One Stop (Duty Free Shop). No photos taken at the shop. Lupa.. Hehehe..
          At night we lepak at restaurant nearby hotel.

           We safely arrived Sandakan Airport at 12.30pm on Friday. That's all about short-business trip to Labuan :-)

Labuan.. Day Two

We stayed in Hotel Labuan 1 for 4D3N.

 The views from our room. Labuan is a small & peaceful town.

Everyday this road will close from 3pm-10pm. It's like a Pasar Malam but it opens everyday.

My husband's training finished at 5.30pm. So we only started to walk & explore the town right after that. No cab, no bus; instead we walked rounding the town.
We started with the jetty. Even though the shops here are Duty Free but they are not that cheap. Financial Park is more cheaper BUT I found shops at waterfront area are the cheapest.

 This shop, "Shoppers Stop" is located at Jln OKK Awang Besar. I recommend to buy perfumes here :-). Boleh tawar menawar gitu..

 And yes, I've got myself my husband bought a CK perfume for me. Thanks sayang!

Labuan Short Breakaway

          It's not a planned one because my husband is attending a 2 days course here. This is one of the good thingy being a housewife; I can follow him whenever he goes for outstation.

          We departed from Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu (by MAS) and from Kota Kinabalu to Labuan by Maswings.

          We had booked earlier Hotel Pulau Labuan 1. It was recommended by my sister in law. It's a nice + city centre + with breakfast hotel.  After checked-in to the hotel, we straight went to Financial Park. We did not buy anything there but I bought a nice yellowish cloth on the way walked back to hotel *that I will wear on the day we check-out tomorrow. Heee... ;-). Ah yes, we walked from the hotel to Financial Park, it only took 10minutes of walking.

D.I.Y HOME MADE SOYBEAN MILK..

1) Soak the soy beans for 4 - 6 hours

2) After that blend them (add some water)

3) And then, filter (for the 1st time)

5) Boil
6) Add sugar, vanilla essence & pandan leaves

 7) DONE; serve chilled

1) No artificial color & preservative

2) Cheap

3) Yummy

Malaysia Airlines.. Nightmare Day 1

          I want to share about my nightmare experience from 29 to 31-Jul on Malaysia Airlines's (MAS) aircraft. I supposed to fly back to Kuala Lumpur on 29-Jul because I had appointment at Hospital Sg Buloh on the 30th.

          So on the 29th, my husband drove me to Sandakan. We reached there as early as 1600 Hrs. Around 1700 Hrs, I received an SMS from MAS system saying the flight would be delayed to 2105 Hrs. I was like...speechless-didn't know how to react. I would be alone at the airport because husband need to drive back home around 1930 Hrs. Not long after that, I received another updating SMS that the flight would be delayed to 1940 Hrs. Oh, I thanked Allah :-) At least I could buka puasa with husband before check-in.
          After buka puasa, we went to the airport. At the check-in counter, the lady informed me that the flight had problem & delayed to 2140 Hrs!! I really did not know what to say. My husband could not accompany me, not until 1930 Hrs as he need to drive home.
          So I just tawaf-buang masa at the airport & lastly I checked-in to the departure hall at 2000 Hrs. After three hours waiting we (the passengers) on board at 2200 Hrs. BUT after we all seated & fasten seat belt, there was announcement telling us the flight had problem & we need to disembark with our luggages. What?? After three hours of waiting, we were still in Sandakan Airport?! Oh Gosh! All the passengers including myself heading to the check-in counter, queuing there as MAS staffs said they would provide us hotel coupon & tomorrow's boarding pass. It was hot, stuffy, people were sweating (no aircond) & very inconvenient. I pity those families travelling with babies...
          Only at 0100 Hrs I reached hotel. They did provided supper but I had no appetite after all the tiredness. Besides, tomorrow I need to wake up early because the flight was scheduled to depart at 1200 Hrs, 30-Jul.
